» About SynthW4V3...

Hello, world, my name is SynthW4V3. I am an adult fiction/fantasy writer within the furry community.I enjoy writing character and environment driven stories. I particularly enjoy writing futuristic or fantastical settings; cyberpunk cityscapes, space, and laboratories are some common surroundings. I enjoy a tinge of nostalgia in my writing; usually either the setting or a central character will have some kind of thoughtful aura about them.I am most well-known for my adult fiction, often depicting transformation, and other such incredible concepts. I enjoy depicting bright colors, neons, shiny fabrics, techwear, and a lot of futuristic vibes and concepts. I enjoy happy endings, especially for characters who may not have had the best life.I love to write most anything; I have a number of projects, both furry and non-furry. I look forward to creating beautiful written works with your characters, whether they be of the furry fandom, from video games, or original characters from any genre. I also look forward to creating fanfictions if that's what you're interested in. Let me create a neon dream for you.

Writing is my passion, and I am happiest when I am in full hermit fixation mode churning out stories. » Nostalgia…
The shuttle's hatch hissed open, releasing a soft plume of steam as it sealed itself to the docking bay of the space station Nostalgia. Jett stepped onto the threshold, shouldering a bag of personal effects he’d be remiss to leave behind. He felt a subtle vibration underfoot as he left the vessel and set foot upon Nostalgia's metallic embrace. The transition from the shuttle's enclosure to the open expanse of the docking bay was a threshold that marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life.
For a moment, he stood still, inhaling the pristine, sterile air of the station. The docking bay stretched out before him, an imposing cavern that seemed to extend into infinity. The walls bore the marks of countless dockings, darkened by the fiery breath of countless spacecraft. Large maintenance drones buzzed overhead, their mechanical limbs reaching out to touch the station's hull in a never-ending dance of upkeep and maintenance. But it was the view beyond the bay's entrance that truly captivated Jett. The cosmos, vast and unfathomable, stretched out before him. Stars, like glimmering diamonds, pierced the endless darkness. A distant nebula painted a tapestry of colors that defied description. He felt a shiver run down his spine, a profound sense of awe washing over him as he stood at the precipice of the universe.

» Cotton Candy…
How fervently he yearned, clinging to the slender thread of hope, to summon the courage to navigate the bustling crowd, to speak the perfect words, and initiate a conversation with the amiable snow leopard who had captured his heart. Oh, the adorableness of his presence, the imagined silkiness of his fur, and the promise of endless fun in his company.
Yet, he lingered at the bar, his footsteps arrested by the icy grip of self-doubt, accompanied by yet another an empty beer bottle that whispered tales of unspoken desires.

» SynthWave…
Skye's struggles intensified, but the relentless grip of the nanolatex only grew firmer. It devoured not only his physical form but also his identity, erasing any trace of his previous existence, including the telltale CyberGenesis uniform he wore. As the latex progressed, it unveiled a remarkable glossy transformation across his limbs. A gradual transition unfolded, as neon blue gave way to mesmerizing magenta as it flowed downward along his limbs, eventually reaching his paws, its vividness a captivating spectacle for any onlooker. Simultaneously, a cybernetic motif began to unfurl, artfully weaving together hues of pink, soft blue, and sunny yellow, and dispersing them with grace across his arms and legs. The circuitry pattern converged at his wrists and ankles, where it formed a distinct border against the bright white canvas that had already served as the base for his paws.

» How to Commission Me...

» Step One: Contact Me…
Reach out to me to let me know of your interest, and cursory ideas. I love chatting! E-mail is usually best to get the conversation going, as I might be difficult to reach in real time, but you can also send me a message via Telegram, Twitter, or Bluesky and I’ll respond once I am able to.

Please do NOT send me inquiries via FurAffinity, SoFurry, Inkbunny, or other mediums not listed above. I do not like their note systems, and would rather have a proper, concise conversation with someone looking to partake of my services.

» Step Two: Submit an Email Summary…
I’m a fluffbrain, so this step is very important. Once we have your idea settled, please email me a summary of the idea at [email protected] so I can have it easily on hand. See Commission Template for a nifty, concise way to send me all the info. Please keep this to a single email per story idea! This is required for ALL story commissions, as I will not begin without this.

» Step Three: Payment…
With your idea and word count figured out, I’ll send you an invoice through PayPal to pay for your story. Payment is due up front, and your due date is retroactive to full payment being received and your completed email summary being sent.

» Step Four: Completion…
Once your story is complete, you’ll receive the file, and I’ll add it to a posting queue. Please do not release it publicly yourself until I have posted it. It will be appearing on FurAffinity, SoFurry, and Inkbunny. If there are other sites you’d like it posted on, please let me know, and I’ll see if I can make that happen. I’ll link you to the story posts once they’re made, and then that’s that; we’re all done. If you do post it yourself afterwards, please be certain to credit me, and link to my page.

» Commission Pricing...

Please keep in mind that pricing includes the preparations for your story; conversations, research, and so on. Synthwave is the standard commission rate, and then depending on how quickly you’ll want the story, you can look into quicker options. I will generally not accept a commission for the requested speed if I do not feel I am able to manage the deadline due to life and workload, but will most likely recommend a slower speed.

» SynthwaveETA: No Time Limit$25 per 1,000 words
» TranceETA: Within 10 Weeks$30 per 1,000 words
» TechnoETA: Within 30 Days$35 per 1,000 words, max 20k words
» HardcoreETA: Within 15 Days$40 per 1,000 words, max 10k words
» CyberSynthETA: Within 24 Hours$50 per 1,000 words, max 5k words

I highly recommend stories be at least 5k words, as this is the word count where I do my best work. I can give the atmosphere the attention it deserves, build character interactions organically, and culminate the story however you're liking. If you need a story quite literally tomorrow then CyberSynth is what you need. I cannot stress enough, however, this is subject to my discretion. I will not accept this speed if I do not feel I can produce your idea this quickly, and I respectfully request your understanding on this without pushback.

» Editing Services...

» Post-Completion Major Edits: $10 per 1k words of the initial story length purchased
If I’ve finished your work, have not publicly released it, but you decide after that you want to change something major about it, this is entirely possible. This will be performed on a first-come-first-serve basis in coordination with other projects I am currently working on. For example, if one story has a deadline of tomorrow, and another the day after, I will not drop them to perform your edits, but instead you will be next in line for my focus.
I realize this may be costly, but please keep in mind; I am having to rework this major edit into an entire story, and depending on what the edit entails it may drastically change the dynamic of the story.Once I have posted a story publicly it is complete, and I am moving on. Any future edits I make on the story for future project associations, i.e. anthologies, will be purely for my own needs.

» Commission Template...

Email Title: Commission - [working title] – [FA/SF/IB/Social Media link]» Commission Speed
» Word Count
» Overall Plot
» Setting
» Characters
with refs if available, and please describe each character's physical traits, special markings, particular ticks you entrust me to handle with respect, personality traits, clothing preferences for the setting, relationship with each of the other characters, and any other helpful information
» PayPal Email
Please note, the final title of the story may differ from the working title, as I like to let the story tell me its title rather than work around something specific. ‘Curs3’ was originally ‘Genie.’ ‘Subliminal’ was originally ‘Intern.’ Please indicate if the working title is special to you and meant to be the true title, and if so I will feel encouraged to really ensure it is part of the theme.

» Example...

Email Title: Commission - Cotton Candy – https://www.furaffinity.net/user/synthw4v3» Commission Speed: Techno
» Word Count: 5000 words
» Overall Plot: Ashe, a white tiger, is alone at a bar in a gay club named RainGlow. He is absolutely smitten with one of the go-go dancers, Kodi, a snow leopard with a pink and blue aesthetic. As luck would have it [insert rest of plot here]
» Setting: An LGBTQIA+ club, really accepting and welcoming, friendly atmosphere, a place where people feel like they can be themselves, lots of dancing and partying, rainbow floors, lots of futuristic stuff like lights and screens. DJ is just awesome. It’s in the middle of a really futuristic city. The story takes place after midnight.
» Characters:
Ashe is a muscular white tiger, around 6 feet tall. His hair is black with white streaks. He wears a button-down shirt and a pair of leather pants, and a pair of pink boxers with red hearts. He’s kind, sincere, but shy, and lacks self-esteem. He is alone at the bar and knows no one, but he is very taken by Kodi, and nervous to talk to him. He’s not a very good dancer, but opens up when he can feel like he’s dancing alone with someone else.
Kodi is a short snow leopard, about 5’6” tall. He is very slim, very much a twink build. His fur is a blend of pinks and blues, like cotton candy, but a bit brighter. His hair is electric blue and neon pink. He usually wears techwear, but since the story’s entirely in the club he’d be wearing a neoprene harness, cuffs, neoprene shorts with a zipper on the back, sneakers, and a snapback. He also wears some fishnet under all of that. His belly button and left ears are pierced, and he wears a collar with a name tag in silver. He is very flexible, and is a go-go dancer at RainGlow. He does a lot of tricks in his dancing, like side flips and splits. He is a little cocky, sarcastic, and devil-may-care, but while working at RainGlow he puts on the sweetest disposition for the patrons. He’s also very caring. He has a convertible that’s like… if he was a car, this is what his car would look like. Sorry, I know, it’s a lot of info about him, he’s supposed to look like a total party twink at a gay club. Oh, and he likes Ashe, and thinks he’s pretty cute, but not interested in anything right now.
» PayPal Email: [email protected]

» Payments...

First and foremost, my apologies, but I will not complete work on your commission unless I’ve received full base payment. Additions can be paid either prior, or during the writing process. Payment received is a binding contract. If you are concerned about the cost of your project, please consider this before making a commission request. Exceptions or partial payments are only extended for the most extreme cases. Also, following the completion of a story, I will not perform a Major Edit until receiving payment for it.I accept payment primarily through PayPal, however, if necessary, we can look into alternative options. I do not accept credit cards directly, and I would only accept cash in the rare event that we meet in person about it.

» Refunds...

Here’s the part where I hope for your understanding, because in the end we’re two derps wanting some fluff written, but I am due compensation for my own time and effort on your project.I do not offer refunds once your story has been completed. No exceptions. If I have not done anything with your story yet, then I will retain a 20% cancellation fee as soon as the funds become available to me.If I have started work on your story, but not completed, I will offer a partial refund in relation to how much was completed. I will retain a 20% cancellation fee (initial purchase + any additions), and the cost of every 1k words completed.Whichever the case, I would only offer a refund as a one-time courtesy, and I will be keeping documentation. If I have to offer a refund a second time I will still honor the request but, I am sorry, I will not be working with you in the future.

» My Guarantee...

If in the event that your story is not completed in the indicated timeline I will extend a 5% discount for a future project of your choice. That being said, if I do not feel I can complete the story in the timeline indicated, then I will either not accept it, or recommend shifting to another tier for better timeliness.

» Future Plans...

» Remasters…
I intend to remaster most of my old content for a newer audience, both to revitalize an old concept I enjoyed, but also to showcase how I have grown as a writer in the years.

» 'SynthWave'…
I've publicly released a shorter version in five parts, but intend to release an eBook adapted as a lengthier novella. I also have a sequel planned.

» 'Assimilation'…
Fans of yesteryear deserve the satisfaction of finally having this story fully realized. I plan to remaster this series, plotting it out from beginning to end, and finish the story. Much as my other remasters the spirit of the story will remain the same. I am delighted to say that I have considered how I want the story to end, and I am excited to finally share this story to all of those who have patiently waited over the years. I promise, this story will not be hidden behind anything but an adult rating.

» eBooks…
I plan to start releasing eBooks in the near future. I’m keen on the idea of releasing anthologies; a series of short stories tied together with a common theme. ‘Subliminal’ and ‘SynthWave’ highlighted a setting I’d like to explore; CyberGenesis Innovations. I’d also like to take the setting of ‘Cotton Candy’ and turn it into its own stand-alone series.

» Patreon…
I plan to start a Patreon page once I feel it’s appropriate. This, of course, depends on demand. I do have a series I’d love to explore that involves a sentient suit and otherworldly powers, and given how lengthy and episodic I intend the series to be, I feel it would do very well in a Patreon environment.

» Terms of Service...

And now for some ground rules. Last time I ventured into this realm I was grossly unprepared, and it caused some discomfort for some people I care deeply for, myself included. So, please understand these terms of service come from a place of love, a desire to share my passion with the fandom, and a healthy need to pay my bills so I can continue to bring my art into this world.» I reserve the right to accept or decline any commission for any reason.» If your commission includes characters that are not your own, you must give me proof of permission before I will write about said characters. This does not apply for fanfiction commissions.» If you are rude, hateful, or otherwise disrespectful during the process of creating your story, I reserve the right to cancel your commission and refund you as per my refund policy.» Your story commission will be posted publicly unless you specify otherwise.» I reserve the right to use the story later in an anthology or otherwise collection to be printed at a later date, and to use any and all characters that I create in the process of completing said story.» As the commissioner, you reserve rights to any characters that you own within a given story, and can request names, color pallets, and defining characteristics be changed if you do not wish your character to appear in a public story post, or any of my other works later on.» These terms of service create a binding agreement between you, the commissioner/customer, and myself, the author SynthW4V3. This is designed to protect both parties involved. By commissioning me to write a story, you are certifying that you have read this document thoroughly, that you understand the terms within, that you are of legal age to purchase adult material, and that you consent to the terms as stated.» These terms of service are subject to change at any time. If terms change that would in any way alter previous agreements between you, the customer, and me, the author SynthW4V3, then you are not obligated to accept these changes. However, your failure to do so may result in your commission being canceled, and your funds being subject to my refund policy listed below. Reasonable attempts will be made to notify any customer of changes within 30 days, but work delays incurred by waiting for a customer response will NOT count toward the official completion time of a project.

» Frequently Asked Questions...

Alright, no one’s asking them yet, but just in case, here are some that I can predict…» Do you do private commissions?
Absolutely. The themes I write may not be something you’re wanting to express to the world, but you want the experience. I would prefer to post the story and label you as an anonymous commissioner, and change distinguishing elements such as name, color palette, and particularly notable features. But if you’d rather it remain under lock and key, I can keep it completely private and forego posting at your behest.
» Do you do requests, collaborations, or trades?
I apologize, I do not wish to do requests, nor do I do collaborations. If you are wanting an artist and I to work in tandem to produce artwork and a story, I am more than happy to consider this, however my rates still stand for my participation. I normally do not do trades, but I do love artwork of my characters, so this is something to discuss on a case-by-case basis.
» Can I get a discount, or negotiate your prices?
At this time I do not offer discounts, and my prices are non-negotiable.
» Will my story be edited?
My writing process encompasses my own personal editing to ensure the story flows correctly, plot holes have been smoothed over, and the general cadence of the story matches what I want. I reread everything to ensure there are no typos, or inconsistencies in my own quality. Major edits can be purchased during the writing process, or even after, but once it is made public I’ve already moved on.
» Can I do fanart/fanfiction of your work?
I would be so honored and flattered. Just please remember to link back to me if you do so, and give credit for my intellectual property.
» Is there anything you will not write?
I have a pretty broad spectrum of kinks and preferences, but there are some things I will not touch: zoophilia, pedophilia, necrophilia, sexually induced death, hard vore, genital mutilation, scat, diapers, or cub porn. This is subject to change. If you are uncertain if your story would be received well with me, please reach out. We can have the conversation, and I will either amicably refuse, or accept after we’ve talked out an adjustment.
» Can you read this story? Can you critique this story?
It never hurts to ask, but my time is often limited to my own endeavors. My fiancé is usually seven hours ahead of me, so catching me at the right time to focus on that kind of constructive assistance is sometimes difficult. I love to chat, though, and if something comes from a little bit of chatter then I’m happy to help another artist!
